So many things....
Hello all, it has been awhile but I'm here now so let's see what's going on. First off today is the day after the big North Texas Mini Film Festival that I hosted. It was a great hit, everyone that made it out had an amazing time. I even got to talk to someone about coming on board to help make next years not only bigger but much better and less stressful. So stay tuned to all the amazing things that are about to come. I have worked on 'Dallas' a couple times and look forward to going back. As far as other stuff I have been focusing on producer things to get 'Hear Me Whisper' and 'Shadows in the Moonlight Part 1 and Part 2' made. Not only working on funding but we are talking to some well known actors. I'll keep everyone posted. I will soon be posting new website, blog, facebook fanpage, and twitter accounts for the now named North Texas Movie Pictures Festival. Like I said before I want to start a production company and just a hint it's going to be happening sooner than later. If you are an up and coming actor, filmmaker, writer, or anyone in this industry work hard and if you believe it will happen. There are many things that are going to be happening in the next few weeks and this coming year. So for now we will see what tomorrow brings.

What I've been up to
Ok it's been a very long time since I have blogged. I'm checking in on what's going on. I have been pretty busy working on getting in shape for films that are going to be coming up in the next year. I have finished writing my feature films that are a part one and two. These films are some of that I will be doing within the next year. I have also finished a short film that I am thinking about directing. The only thing is I am thinking about turning it into a feature film and I don't know if my first time directing should be a feature. I also know some really good directors that would be amazing at it. So really been busy with those projects. As far as acting I have done several things. We ended up having to reshoot all of my scenes for 'Tips'. Which was really a lot of fun to see everyone. It was cool because I look really different than I did last time. We even did some really cool stuff to my shirt to make it look more feminine. I have also done some video auditions but nothing has really come out of it. I just recently done one that was for a paid short film. The character seems like she would be a lot of fun to play. Fingers crossed on that one. As far as 'Hear Me Whisper' (previously HMW) has been pushed back a little because of funding but I'm ok with that because it gives me more time to be in better shape. I have a lot of running and physical things that I will be doing during the filming of 'Hear Me Whisper'. It looks that I will be moving the film festival to a different venue because the cost of it is about 1/4 of the other location. I'm working on getting sponsors in order top make sure it to be an amazing event. It is a lot of stuff, but I really do love it. To write is amazing because it is what my mother used to do and to do what she could is very cool. I also like while writing I am shaping characters, giving them back stories, trying to find the way to make it more interesting. Well I think that is all of it. So for now we will see what tomorrow brings.

What's been going on...
Well it has been awhile but busy (which is a good thing). Where to start...recently I have decided to submit myself to agents. Which is a trying task. I have tons of pictures and it isn't easy to figure out which headshot to send. I have recently gotten some really good advice about play the part of what I am. Not trying to be something else. I have actually found some really nice headshots by taken old bodyshots and cropping them really close on my face. I looked at the agencies websites to see what looks they have and when submitting sent headshots that look somewhat like what they have but with my personality on it. So we will see what comes of that. Next my biggest project that is coming up in Oct. (which is 10 weeks away). I know time is going to fly by and it will be here before I know it. So I am preparing myself for the lead role, Karen, in 'Hear Me Whisper'. I know I have to talked about it already but the writer/director M.A. Mohammad has added even more suspense and scary things to this already intense psychological thriller. Karen is one of the most complex characters I have had the chance to play. So I have been reading threw the script and beginning to dive deep and deeper into he mind. She is in my head and I can't wait to see her on the big screen. There has been some amazing things going on with the production side of the film. I will let you guys now as soon as I can. As far as the North Texas Mini Film Festival goes it is going along wonderfully. We may have some really big sponsors providing their products during the event which will be amazing. Also looks like it will be a red carpet event with all the bells and whistles!! Super excited. My husband, Todd Besser, has come on board to help me in getting this event to come to life. He is amazing and with his help I know I can make this an even bigger event. As far as auditioning goes, I have taken a little hiatus. But with God's help and my new agent (once I hear back from all the agents) I will be auditioning for bigger (and more pay) roles. If you haven't heard, the new 'Dallas' from TNT will start filming again in Oct., and I look forward to getting a speaking role on the show. So I am awaiting responses from agents. I'm working on studying and become "Karen" for 'Hear Me Whisper'. So for now we will see what tomorrow brings.

What's been going on...
Well it has been a while and I'm sorry for that. I have been super busy. I have been doing auditions for several SAG Ultra Low Budget films. We will see if I get any callbacks. Also I have been studying my script for 'Hear Me Whisper' which is the psychological thriller feature film that I am lead in. You can see the promo for the film on my website under HMW page. I am diving into my character, she is an amazing and difficult character. Just from doing the promo I have grown as an actress. Right now I'm starting a workout plan to get my cardio up because in the film I have not only a lot of running but I have other physical things I will be doing. We are looking to start filming in October with pre-production in Sept. We even found a city that would let us film anywhere. Once we get 'Hear Me Whisper' green-lit and ready to start filming, we'll submit my films to the production company. Had a little hiccup in putting the festival together but it will get done and this year will be amazing. I have met with an agent who is from LA. He is helping get the right look so that he can submit me to projects. He has also helped me realize that I don't need all the crazy stuff that I had on my website. Which here is a pointer for any other actors with a website out there. Minimal is better than over doing it. Which if you have seen my website I have redone it completely. Check it out and see what I mean minimal. Also when going to take head/body shots watch commercials, see how the people (that are your age) are dressed. Your headshots should look as if they can take you and just put you in the commercial. Have a business look, going out look, and play look. But make sure it's not you trying to be someone else be yourself. There probably more that I am forgetting but this is all I can think of. I will continue to send my information into casting directors for roles.

Many things going on...
Wow so many things have been going on since my last blog. It has been a little over month an many things have happened. First let's start with my IMDb (www.imdb.com/name/nm3461570) has me listed in 10 films and 6 television projects!! Which incredible!! There is a couple more films that I'm waiting for them to added also. I have been checking the usual places and I audition for a film called "The Tribe" it was a good audition. I am finding that I am more relaxed during auditions, I believe the reason for it is that I have already done 3 films this year with another feature film with me as the lead will be filming in October. Speaking of HMW (working title) there are some really amazing developments where we could have all of the financing sooner than we thought. "Shattered Reflections" is a big project also, why do I say this is because I not only played a role in it which was really fun because we ended up doing some improv during the scene. But I also ending up getting to be an executive producer!!! I organized a whole scene (finding location, getting extras, and much more). It was amazing to do stuff behind the camera. I was in charge of the extras and also I got to help with some directing (I am now thinking seriously of doing my own film while directing!!) Now on to my script(s) I am pretty much done with part 1 (besides any grammar or punctuation) but I recently had an amazing idea to add to part 2 which really added some drama to it. I am looking forward to working on this project. It is looking like it will be filmed next summer (we need the weather since that is what the scenes are mostly outside and sunny!!) Than part 2 will be shoot shortly after that. Super excited. Mini Film Festival is looking really great. We have had a lot of inquiring on submissions. I also have recently started working with Withoutabox to make submitting easier and also make the festival a IMDb qualifying festival!! So that would mean any film shown during the festival would get IMDb credit and also every film submitted threw withoutabox would also me able to get IMDb credit. As most people know in the industry that it is hard to not only one get your film shown and seen by people but also getting it put on IMDb. This is just another reason I have put this festival together. I think that is all for right now. So for now we will see what tomorrow brings.

Update
Hello, everyone hope you have been great. It has been 10 days since my last blog. So many things have gone on since then. First the filming for "Shattered Reflections" got moved to Mon. May 2nd., so I have yet to film that which I can't wait to do. Also been working on my 2 films that I have been letting rest until now so I can have a fresh perspective. There is also great news on the film (HMW (working title)) there has been talk with the producers and they love me and won't do the project without me!! Wow!! I feel so blessed. My birthday was yesterday and my hubby and kids made it incredible. Also all of my friends in the acting industry were so nice wishing me Happy Birthday!! I think I had over 60 people say something to me on my birthday. Tomorrow I have the pleasure of being on the new t.v. show filming here, the new 'Dallas'. I can't wait to be on this project. I have been fortunate enough to be put on the list as a possible ranch hand, just have to wait and see if the director likes my look. Fingers crossed!! I was raised on a ranch and used to train and raise horses so I am totally able to do it. Will let you all know if it happens but for now I'm going to be there tomorrow. I've checked the usual spots and have been sending my information out. I have recently also sent my headshot and resume to two feature films. One is for a film called "Transfer" the part I went for is for a college student who is big boned and was raised on a farm. I fit that one to a tee. The other one is for "American Reunion" (which is another installment of "American Pie". The part is a former popular skinny girl who gains a lot of weight. So another role that I fit to a tee. I recently also sent a txt to the director/writer of 'Morning in America' about a genre/role that I would like to play. I asked him if he was truly interested in writing me a part I would very much like to do either a scary film with me as a heroine or a mystery spy genre. I have always liked 'Alias' and those kind of shows. I also love scary films as well. I am also working very hard on the Mini Film Festival and getting it put together, thankfully I have a good friend, Molly who has decided to help me. I have made an application for films submitting this year. It is so much fun to be planning this event and looking forward to see many new films. Also been updating my website and working on my demo reel, check it out at www.jenniferbesser.com. That is about it for now. So for now we shall see what tomorrow brings.

Projects that are done and more to come
I have finished filming all my scenes for the film 'Morning in America'. We filmed on this past Mon. Apr. 12th and let me tell you it was awesome. The director, William Wasson, was listening to me and Tom (Walter character's name) and he said that I did it so well that he felt like I did because of my intensity. How cool!! Than he also told me that he would like to write a film for me, he told me to pick a character or genre that I would like to do and he would write it. AWESOME!!! Looks like I may have another project very soon that will be written for me as a lead and the character will have some of my personality in it. I have lately been working on my lines for 'Shattered Reflections' which will be filming this Mon. Apr. 18th. It will be fun I will be reuniting with some friends that I worked with on 'The Good Guys'. Exciting!!! Posting pictures and other things for my upcoming projects on website. Also I have been working on updating my demo reel which is a good thing to do once a year or when ever you get a lot of new footage. Checking and submitting to the usual places. So for now we will see what tomorrow brings.

What's going on...
Wow it has been awhile but I will be on here everyday now because I now have internet at home again. Ok let me see what have I been up to since the last time I blogged. Let's see I have now gone from the bad lady on the 'Chuck' spoof to the boss of the agency. I already finished filming 'Art of Crime' which was a short that I was playing a reporter Paula Greene. I will be filming 'Morning in America' on the 12th of this month. This film is a very controversial film about tea party stuff and I'm playing one of the more controversial parts, which is something I always like to do. Then the next project I will be filming is 'Shattered Reflections' where I play Jackie, this is a very interesting film as well, emotional. Now about a very important role and project that I am working on, it is a new feature film that I will be the lead in. Unfortunately I can't tell you all the details but I can tell you that this is a Psychological Thiller that will change the way you see horror. It will make you check you locks twice and always check to make sure you are alone. And if your a mom you will be scare out of your mind. I know I am a mom and it really scares me. I am working with two incredible boys Gavin and Aidan. I am making a page on my website with pictures. We just shoot the promo for it and I will tell you it was incredible. First we shoot the scene with two boys, then it was just me and let me tell you while I was doing my scene you could almost hear a pin drop because everyone was so into what I was doing that they were stunned silent. We are sending the promo (once edited) and finished script to production companies. I mean the first 5 mins of this movie will be leaving people wondering what's next. Will tell you more once I can about this project. Now on to other things that I have been up to. Got my new picture from Page Parks, the pictures that were taken during my trip to Houston for the makeover and acting camp. They look good and are different from any pictures that I have which is great. Also I worked on another new tv show that is filming here in Dallas it's called 'GCB' it is based on the book 'Good Christian Bitches' I was in the pilot twice, it should air on ABC. Just want to tell you all it looks great and very funny. Now on to my other project, I have written two feature films a part 1 and part 2. It is a romance with some twist and turns. I finished them and soon going to be submitting it to producers and investors. I got help from the writer/director of 'Broken Seconds' Mohammad A. Mohammad (who is also the same writer/director of my new project that I can't tell you about), he really likes it and with his help I think this will be the romance that will change how people see romance movies. I can't wait to start pre-production on it and then of course filming. With both huge projects I'm working on Mohammad's feature film and my 2 feature films (saving name until I get in pre-production),not only will I be working with Mohammad as the director but also the incredible DP from 'Broken Seconds' Matt Stocks will be DP on both projects. Matt has a way of finding the most incredible angles. Mohammad is an incredible director and has helped me grow as an actress. I think that is all for now. Don't forget to check out my website www.jenniferbesser.com to see the new content. Also if you are a filmmaker than don't forget to check out the 2nd Annual Mini Film Festival because we are now accepting submissions. So for now we will see what tomorrow will bring.

Auditions & Films
Many lately my schedule is blowing up. I have now been asked to work on 2 or 3 different projects, just by word of mouth and also what I have done. That is so cool. I am also auditioning for another 4 films. I had two auditions today. One for a short film for the 168 Film Festival and then a feature film. Both auditions went incredible and I can't wait to see what comes from it. The one for the feature film was very cool and the director seemed very interested he told me I was at the top of his list. And the other I had to play a guitar (never have touched a guitar in my life) it went good I just strummed the chords. Now for the films that I am going to be doing. First is a film that is a spoof on 'Chuck' and I am playing the bad lady!! Sweet. Second is a short film that is called 'Art of Crime' where I am playing a reporter, cool have never done that before. The last one is a feature I believe. It was written by a friend of mine and she told me she had me in mind as she was writing it. How cool is that. There are 3 more projects that are in the works for this year but can't really say much yet. I have filming of 'Art of Crime' on the 19th of Feb. Which is next Sat. can't wait. As far as auditions go there is: 'Second Glances' which is the one where I had to play the guitar, 'One Vision' which is the other one which the director told me I'm at the top of his list, 'Transfer' which is an online audition for a pretty big film, 'Morning in America' is a short film that I got asked by the director to come audition, and then 'A Woman's Worth' a feature film. More news to come, so for now we will see what happens happens.

Page Parkes Acting Camp!!
Sorry I haven't been on sooner but been away from a internet. Also was a little bummed that the hotel that I was staying at for the acting camp didn't have wifi. All I can say about the camp is WOW!!! Started on the Fri.the 21st at 9 am in Houston (which I got up at 2 am to drive down there) meet up at the hotel, got room keys then headed to the Page Parkes Center for Modeling and Acting. When we first got there we had orientation and then we took a tour. It was a very cool place. What I thought was really cool was that Page.713 was right across the hall. We got to go and check it out. Then it we were divided up into 2 groups and I was in group A. First it was make over time. When I got there it was hair color changing time and hair cut. I am now a really DIRTY DIRTY blonde. I loved my hairstylist Tane (he was also Page Parkes hairstylist). I also got to meet and shake Page's hand. She is a very cool lady. Also during that I had my eyebrows threaded!! OUCH!! The weirdest sensation ever!! After make over was time for lunch. Then Photoposing class with an incredible lady who has been in the business a long time, Nickie. She was very fun and energetic. Then on to Acting class with Sara, very awesome lady. She was also funny!! I got some really great pointers on what they thought of my commercial that I was doing for my audition (which was on Sun.) to get into the agency. Actually I will be submitted to 2 different companies, Page.713 (Houston) and Page Parkes Management (Dallas). It would be cool to get into both, mostly Page.713 since it is the agency. After that it was time for dinner. Got to meet and hangout with some incredible people. Then it was back to the hotel for sleep before the big day of the photoshoot. Had to be in lobby at 8am for breakfast at hotel (the hotel's breakfast was delicious!!). Then it was off to the photographer's studio. We got to the studio and there were 2 makeup artists/hairstylist and 2 stylist!! Group A had Wendy and she was very cool. She airbrushed my face, which is a first for me. We had 3 different looks. First for make-up and hair it was all natural. I was a blank canvas that is to make it easier for casting directors to see what they have to work with. I was wearing my skinny jeans, a white dressy tank that had necklaces on it, and a pink jacket. Then for the second look just added very little make-up but hair got curled (it looked super cute). I was wearing blank dress pants, gray tank with black lace, and a black blazer. And last was really sophisticated make-up and hair (loved my hair, actually everything). In a like a plum colored dress with a black small jacket and black belt. It was so much fun but a very long day. It was to dinner than back to the hotel. When we got there I suggested that a couple of us practice in front of each other to help get pointers and to see if we were doing good. Again it was 8 am for breakfast (loved it!) but this time had to be completely packed and ready to go. I had to get my car out of packing so I had to be down there sooner than that. Then it was off to the Page Parkes Center for Modeling and Acting where it was off to skin care and make-up class. After that was Imrov!! (Love Improv) it was with Nickie and found out we would be doing a 2 person improv audition before our commercials. Than it was rehearsal time before the big time. I had a really cool girl as my partner in the improv audition part. Audition WENT INCREDIBLE!!! Then found out it will be 6 weeks before I find anything out if I got with Page.713 or even Page Parkes Management. Also that is when my new portfolio, negatives, CD, and all the other goodies will be coming in the mail. Then it was time to drive home and man did I miss my family. So all and all a really great and exciting weekend. I have still be submitting to several films in the area. Also worked on 'Chase' on Jan. 19th, got to play to different characters. Now it's a waiting game finding out if I got the agency I wanted. I will let you all know what I hear. So for now we shall see what tomorrow brings.

Audition for Creature Feature Film
\Today was the audition for the Creature Feature Film. It was an awesome audition. I got to see Adrian Santiago, a director that I had worked with on the project Grim. Which he remembered me, which is very cool. As I first auditioned I was channeling the wrong type of character and they told me what they were looking for. And I did as they asked. They seemed to like it. I was in the auditioning room for like 15 minutes, it was very cool. As I was leaving I asked how long until we know and she said it would be in the next couple days. I searched the usual spots and found a couple items that submitted to myself. We shall see but I have this feeling that it is that these is going to be an unforgettable year. So for now we shall see what tomorrow brings.

Great Day
Today has been a great day!! Today I found out that I will be going to Houston next weekend to go to Page Parks acting camp for not only some training but also a makeover, new headshots, and an audition with Page Parks to become represented by them. I am so excited. Page Parks has started so many big careers I believe I will be their next big name. (Positive thinking) I also have an audition tomorrow that I have been practicing for it is for a supporting role but I have worked with the director before and let's hope that bods well for me. I can't wait for next weekend and I will keep everyone informed on what is going on. Also I will post something on how audition goes tomorrow. Checked the usual spots and submitted to local projects. Worked more on my script and been working on other project (more details soon). So for now we will see what tomorrow brings.

It's a New Year!!
I know it has been a long time and one of my resolutions is to get on here more. I'm not sure if it will be everyday but I am going to try at least once a week. Since the last time I was on here many things have gone on. First I am going strong in the acting department, auditioning, and looking forward to upcoming projects. I have also started writing a script. It has really taken on a life on of it's own. It looks like it will be like Kill Bill (with two Volumes). Kill Bill was 220 pages and right now I am at 157. A regular feature film script is 95 + or - 3 pages. So I am now looking forward to how I am going to end the film. It is a romance but it has tons of twists and turns!! Not only that but I am working with a friend that I will be a lead in a feature film that he is doing!! We are really collaborating a lot on it. He is using me as a base for the character and then building on that. This year is going to be incredible. I think I have added a new thing to my making it big in this industry that I want to do. I want to start my own production company, I have watched a lot of "What it Takes' t.v. show and a lot of the actors that are really big have started their own production companies. This is going to be an incredible year!! So I think that is all for now and so I am going to be leaving with my usual saying. We will see what tomorrow brings!!
